WHO WE ARE
We are a “not for profit” medical missions organization providing free and highly subsidized health care services for the urban poor and rural populations in Uganda, East Africa.
To be the body of Christ to the urban poor and rural populations of Uganda by empowering people to realise their potential for great health through provision of free and highly subsidized health care services.
To make quality health care services accessible and available to the urban poor and rural populations of Uganda.
Frontiers are the various avenues through which we interface with our target population and therefor achieve our mission
With a team of five doctors, ten nurses and volunteers, we conduct regular medical camps in the various slums around Kampala and villages allover Uganda.
Everyone that comes to our camps receives free healthcare services that include consultation with a doctor, lab investigations and prescriptions.
A typical medical camp in the slums starts with set up at 6pm, allowing us to be ready for our clients by 8am and close at 4pm. We tend to start a little later when in the villages because people in the villages will do their gardening first and then come to the camp.
We treat an average 200 to 400 people every medical camp and we’re able to reach even more numbers whenever international medical teams join us.
Community health screening for children
We conduct regular community health screening exercises for children. These help us to identify various preventable illness in children and therefore institute early interventions.
