Caroline a mother of eight and a grandmother. She had never had access to dental services all her life. She walked 2 miles to one of our outreach medical camps in Eastern Uganda. A carious tooth had become necrotic and an abscess was starting to form. Our team was just in time to perform a simple dental extraction and provide antibiotics to ensure the infection does not progress. She called our office many weeks later wondering how to deliver her token of appreciation – a rooster.
