Israel worked at a school as a cleaner before He was diagnosed with HIV and a squamous cell carcinoma of the right eye. The tumor was growing into his ear and brain. He could no longer work, even walk on his own. His wife left him with his two children, he could hardly take care of the children because of his condition, he had to leave the children with an elderly woman; Israel’s mom. They are not going to school and their future is totally uncertain.
Israel, a 39 year old, could die and become another statistic in Africa, if we did nothing, but we did something about it…We sponsored his surgery which was a success and he was able to regain his health back and because of this He can return to work and provide for his children. Israel’s health was restored both father and children can now dream again.
